Concerns over Alpine stability: 'He is ringing the changes'

Renault announced in 2020 that it would continue under the Alpine name a year later. With Fernando Alonso as Esteban Ocon 's new teammate, the French racing stable hoped to return to success. The French managed to win the battle with AlphaTauri last season. Both teams worked hard to secure fifth place in the constructors' championship, but in the end it was Alpine that proved to be the strongest. With 155 points, Alpine only had to put Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, Ferrari and McLaren ahead of them.
