Charles Leclerc calls for change in what F1 is 'missing' in current cars

Charles Leclerc argues the way qualifying is with new generation of Formula 1 car works needs to be changed to be more 'Formula 1-like'.

The Monegasque driver enjoyed his battles with the Mercedes drivers and his teammate Lewis Hamilton so far this season.
However, Leclerc also sees where the current generation of cars need to improve.

Leclerc wants qualifying to improve

Speaking to GPblog among other media after the Chinese Grand Prix, he explained: "It's a little bit easier to go around the outside. It's not those super high downforce cars that we used to have in the past that was in between.
"However, they are things that we of course need to look at to make it a little bit more Formula 1-like in qualifying, because I feel like there is something that we miss still, but I know FIA is working on it and hopefully we'll find a solution for that," he concluded.
