Ferrari once again failed to match Mercedes in 2018 with Lewis Hamilton coming out on top and Martin Brundle believes “certain things weren’t being done”.
Maurizio Arrivabene recently left the role of team principal after a season which saw several big mistakes caused the Scuderia to concede the World Championship to Mercedes for the fifth successive season.
Speaking at Autosport International, Brundle admitted: “things weren’t right”.
"You look at situations like Hockenheim, where Vettel was put under pressure because they didn't do the right things earlier on in the race.
"Then he fell off the road, and he fell out of the championship from that moment onwards.”

Brundle made reference to the teams slipstreaming in Monza when talking about things that weren’t being done.
"You look at other things like the slipstreaming in Monza [when Vettel did not get a tow off Kimi Raikkonen because Ferrari stuck to a previously-agreed order on-track].
"Certain things weren't being done."
Arrivabene was replaced by technical officer Mattia Binotto and Brundle spoke with optimism about the new boss.
"I do think Mattia Binotto has got a very good reputation in developing the team technically, he's clearly a leader of people," said Brundle.
