Ex Formula One driver Pascal Wehrlein will drive for Mahindra Racing in the 2018/19 Formula E Championship - to put him out of contention for the Toro Rosso seat next season.
Wehrlein has raced for Manor and Sauber in the past - but then lost his seat to Charles Leclerc at the latter.
He'll make his Formula E debut for the Indian side and partner Jerome d'Ambrosio.
D'Ambrosio has now switched to Mahindra, after competing in the first four seasons of FE with Dragon.
Wehlrein had been linked with the Toro Rosso seat and this may come as a surprise to some that he's chosen to join Stoffel Vandoorne, who announced yesterday his decision to join Formula E.

"I'm very happy to be joining Mahindra," Wehlrein said. "I had the first meeting with Dilbagh (Gill, team principal) in the summer and met the team for the first time at a test event.
"It's a small team but with really high ambitions and I have the same high ambitions. I want to achieve the best possible results and I have a feeling the team is the right environment for me. I'm looking forward to the season and I will give my best."
Brendon Hartley's future is still under huge doubt at the Red Bull junior team - with Pierre Gasly already being announced as Max Verstappen's team-mate at Red Bull for 2019.
