The FIA have handed out a list of new power elements and it's believed that Mercedes are running a new spec engine. They were uncertain which power units they would use ahead of the weekend. Originally it was planned to release the new spec last time out in Canada, but they were delayed.
So far, after just 20 minutes, the Mercedes team are running 4th and 5th just behind both Red Bull' and Kimi. Lance Stroll, a Mercedes customer driver is running in 10th.
