Bottas wants more, 'I've been pushing people'

Valtteri Bottas switched from Mercedes to Alfa Romeo in 2022. In this, he took points in the first races of that season. Before last season, Alfa Romeo was mainly competing at the bottom of the teams before the 2022 season. But in the previous season, especially in the beginning, they seemed to be very competitive.

In an interview with Ziggo Sport, Bottas spoke about last season comparing to upcoming the season: "I think we are on a good path." In last season, Bottas picked up a total of 49 points, securing 10th place in the World Championship. Which is the best result in ages for an Alfa Romeo driver.

"I've been pushing people and tried to ask for more." With his five years at Mercedes, in which he won the Constructors' Championship five times, he has been able to build up a lot of experience.

Bottas wants to get better results than last season: "To be better, I want to be better then last year, especially in the races." If Valtteri Bottas wants to do better than last season, he will at least have to score more than 49 points for the Swiss Formula 1 team.
