Valtteri Bottas has explained that he's neither worried about his expiring deal at Mercedes, nor does he feel under pressure, as the Fin's second one-year deal comes to an end at the end of the year.
Bottas was asked about how he deals with his contract situation, knowing that he could potentially be in his last months at Mercedes.
"During the race weekend especially I ignore it," he explained during the press conference.
"I focus on the job, that's always the best thing to do.
"Then when the time is right, between the races ideally, you start to speak with the team, but that time is not quite yet."
Even though he's apparently not in advanced talks regarding a potential renewal of his deal at Mercedes, Bottas doesn't feel worried about it.
"I have no worries or pressure on that.
"I feel like I'm in a good place, and everything between me and the team has been very positive - we're making good progress together all the time.
"I just need to continue and we'll see a little bit later on."
