Bottas: "It's not looking bad for us on paper"

Valtteri Bottas has won twice at the Sochi Autodrom in Russia. His team Mercedes won every race there. Looking ahead to the race, the Finn thinks his chances are good.

The Mercedes number two has already won twice on the Russian track and had to hand over a sure victory to Lewis Hamilton for the championship on a third occasion. The Russian track is not Bottas' favourite after all.

Thus he says to Formule1.com at the FIA press conference, "This is not necessarily my favourite circuit, that's Suzuka."

Bottas continued: "On paper it doesn't look bad for us. We have been competitive at fast circuits, like Monza, but nothing is guaranteed. It will be exciting. We want to maximise the number of points of course, this is a good moment. We want to win here."
