At the end of August, Audi announced that it will make its Formula 1 entry as an engine supplier in 2026. On Wednesday, we may get more clarity on the German car brand's partnership.
"The future is taking shape. Watch this space for more," echoes the announcement on Twitter. On Wednesday 26 October at 11:00 am UK time, Audi will announce something special. The attached picture of the F1 car already gives a hint of what the announcement could be about.

Formula 1 announcement Audi?

It is most likely about the car brand's F1 entry. Alfa Romeo and Sauber announced earlier this season that the partnership between the two parties will end at the end of 2023. According to rumours, Audi will take over Alfa Romeo's role from 2024, but the partnership has not yet been officially announced. The German car brand is keen to take over a current F1 team.
Besides Audi, Porsche is also still considering a possible F1 entry. The team was actually supposed to team up with Red Bull Racing, but that deal fell through. According to the latest rumours, the brand will team up with Williams.
