Aston Martin to the top? 'Determined to make this team even more successful'

With the announcement of title sponsor Cognizant, Aston Martin returns to Formula 1. Lance Stroll was retained as a driver and Sebastian Vettel was appointed his new teammate. According to Vettel, Aston Martin is now 'back where it belongs'.

The rumours that Aston Martin is returning to Formula 1 in the 'British Racing Green' proved to be true. In addition, there seems to be a hint of lime green on the car. Vettel is looking forward to his new adventure, after failing to win a fifth world title at Ferrari.

"I can’t wait to start working with Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team", said the German in a press release from the British team. "There’s so much for me to discover over the next few months and I’m incredibly determined to help make this team even more successful. Before we know it, we will be at the first race, seeing this famous name back where it belongs. I’m proud to be part of this journey."

Stroll will trade his pink Racing Point suit for Aston Martin's green and sees the return of Aston Martin as something very important. "Whenever I’m at the factory, you can feel the buzz and energy. We’re ready for this. There’s so much hunger in the team and I just can’t wait to get the season started."
