Antonelli handed second penalty after crash with Leclerc in Dutch GP

The Mercedes driver was already given a 10-second time penalty during the Grand Prix for the crash with Charles Leclerc in turn 3. After the Monegasque left the pit lane, he came to the door at Antonelli.

The rookie picked the low line through the Hugenholtz corner to carry out an overtaking, but he overshot upwards. This way, he knocked the Ferrari out of the race.

A round before this incident, Antonelli made a pit stop. Here too, the young Italian made a mistake. He exceed the speed limit in the pits. This was set to 80km/h, but the Mercedes was driven at 80.3km/h.

As a result, Antonelli didn't receive one, but two time penalties. For the incident with Leclerc, the young Italian received a 10-second time penalty and two penalty points on his license. The incident in the pit lane, which occurred just two minutes earlier, resulted in another 5 seconds penalty for the Mercedes driver. He did not receive any additional penalty points.
