Ahead of the Imola Grand Prix, Alpine has appointed a new team representative. Dave Greenwood, Alpine's Racing Director, will serve in this role.
Greenwood will be in charge of keeping the stakeholders informed of the ins and outs of the team, on top of carrying out the administrative duties.

Briatore Maintains Leading Role at Alpine

Alpine also states that Briatore's role will not change. He will still be entirely responsible within the team. Alpine's advisor has taken over the team's leadership since the departure of team principal Oliver Oakes and thus will continue to hold on to the role.
After the Miami Grand Prix, it was revealed that Oakes had left the team for personal reasons. Soon after his resignation, it surfaced that his brother William Oakes was caught with large amounts of money and detained.
