AlphaTauri say goodbye to name: is an unveiling imminent?

After four years, the AlphaTauri name will disappear from Formula 1. Red Bull's sister team will have a different name for the 2024 Formula 1 season. The team are reportedly opting for Visa Cash App RB.

AlphaTauri have not yet revealed the name, but would like to thank the fans for the wonderful years in Formula 1. “Four years and countless memories. Thank you for being a part of our journey," the team posted on X, formerly Twitter. AlphaTauri was first called Toro Rosso, but that changed in 2020.

AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer announced in November 2023 that the team would receive a full 'rebranding'. He explained that shareholders decided on the team's new name. Bayer said the American partners started brainstorming about a new name. View the tweet thanking the fans here.
