Alfa Romeo: 'We tease you all the time, the countdown has begun'

Just hours before the end of 2023, Alfa Romeo has shared a message on X, formerly Twitter. The Swiss team will make an announcement on 1 January 2024. Alfa Romeo will reportedly officially have Sauber in its name on 1 January. The official team name is not yet known, but will undoubtedly follow on the first day of 2024.

"We have been teasing you for a long time. The countdown has finally begun," the constructor wrote on the medium. In the Formula 1 season, Alfa Romeo scored 16 points. Six to the name of Guanyu Zhou and 10 to the name of Valtteri Bottas. Whether Sauber will do better in 2024, time will have to tell. Check out the constructor's message here.
