Speaking at the drivers' parade during the build-up to the Spanish Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton was asked whether a podium could be at play in Barcelona. Such a result was not up to par with the Briton's ambition.
Having qualified P5 Hamilton doesn't think that the race will be particularly straight forward. Is an Imola comeback possible in Spain?
"I hope it's the same. Their different tracks, so I'm not really sure that that's possible," said the Briton. "In this heat, it's going to be massively challenging, physically, but also with the car and the tyres. I just hope that I can somehow keep up with the guys up front."

Hamilton's ambitious goal for the Spanish GP

When asked what if a podium was his aim, Hamilton revealed his true aspirations for the Spanish Grand Prix.
"I mean, I want to win. It's not simple, but that's what I want to do today. I want to try and win," stated the Ferrari driver.
However, he wouldn't be unhappy with a top three result. "But a podiumwould be an amazing, you know, step forward for us. So I will give it absolutely every day to try and do that.
