Sergio Perez ends his run of podiumless finishes with a superb drive to finish P3 in the Turkish Grand Prix. The Mexican driver managed the intermediate tyres well in what was a difficult race.
"It was quite an intense race with fighting with lewis and then Charles," Perez tells sky sports after battling to put his car in P3 and gain some crucial points for Red Bull.
"We didn't really know what was going on with the tyres, it was just one of the races you know where you have to push at the right time. It wa very hard to manage the tyres because they were going off and off."
The Mexican had an intense battle with Lewis Hamilton halfway through the race but ultimately came out on top to take his spot on the podium.
