During free practice earlier today the riders had to deal with a wet track, but it slowly dried during the session. At the end of the third free practice session it started raining again and became heavier. In the meantime it is raining cats and dogs.

Soaking wet track

As it looks now we will have a very wet qualifying session for the Belgian Grand Prix. During Formula 3 it was already wet, but during the Porsche Supercup the drivers had some trouble keeping their cars on the track. There was so much water on the track that it caused a lot of aquaplaning.

Qualifying will start at 15:00, but with the amount of rain that is currently coming down from the sky, it remains to be seen if qualifying will start on time. The forecast is for less rain during the afternoon, but with the ever changing weather conditions in the Ardennes you never know.
