Max Verstappen will undoubtedly be pleased with his second time after a disappointing first and second free practice. Still, there was more to it and although it is only Saturday, the driver from Limburg has already done some excellent business.

" Robert Doornbos answers the question of presenter Rob Kamphues if Max Verstappen is satisfied with his second place in the qualification for the Monaco Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton finished seventh and so the 23-year old Dutchman can make a big difference in the battle for the world title on Sunday. The difference is now fourteen points, but if both drivers finish the race where they started, the difference is only two points.

How much risk will Red Bull take?

"Max is not busy with the championship", Doornbos continues. "He is just focused on getting pole position in Monaco and winning the race. He will be happy that Hamilton is so far behind him, of course. The fact is that the pole was within reach, so he will be sick of that. However, if you also look again at how it was on Thursday, then you can be very happy that you worked so well together to improve that car and that you are just standing here."

Helmut Marko, however, is a lot more concerned with the title fight. The Red Bull Racing advisor stated that the Austrian squad are not going to pull any punches and just want to score a pile of World Cup points.
