Recently Red Bull Racing announced that they have set up a new company to develop their own power unit. Formula 1 journalist Will Buxton explains what he has noticed in the news surrounding the team over the past week.
"Last week, the AlphaTauri drivers were seen together with Max Verstappen at the Red Bull Performance Center in Austria, where they completed some disgusting looking training regimens," Buxton said in a YouTube video.

"But the biggest Formula One news this week came from Red Bull Racing, with their announcement that they had started a new company called Red Bull Powertrains Limited," Buxton continued.
That this would happen was only to be expected, but Buxton explains why it is such important news. "This is the official recognition that Red Bull is an engine manufacturer, and for the first time in their lives as a Formula One team, their fate in terms of the powerplant is completely in their own hands," he said.

"That should not be understated. This is a very, very important moment for Red Bull in Formula One," Buxton finished.
