Charles Leclerc has impressed from the first moment in Formula 1 and has risen through the ranks quickly. The Monegasque has also made many mistakes in that time, but according to Leclerc himself, he is learning from them.

While many Formula 1 drivers are quick to look for 'blame' when something goes wrong, Charles Leclerc is someone who is quick to find fault with himself. Think of his iconic "I am stupid!" quote during qualifying in Baku. Yet Leclerc is not one to dwell on the past for long.

"Whenever I make a mistake, I see it as a positive thing. I am sure I will learn from it and become a better person," the Ferrari driver told Armani. "I would say that by nature I am very impatient, but I have now learned to wait. I also play music just for me. It helps me relax and it's purely a moment for me alone."

Adapting to the crowd

Despite his faults, the Monegasque's rise to prominence in Formula 1 has been explosive. One reason for this may also be the choices Leclerc has made in the people he has surrounded himself with. "I like it when everything is precise, especially in my professional life. I always surround myself with people I trust and we make choices together."

"If I was asked to become a bit more of a showman, I wouldn't change. I am who I am and I don't want to be anyone else. So yes, I am me," concludes the young driver.
