Hulkenberg is looking for a return to Formula 1: ''Those talks are in progress''

It could just be that Nico Hulkenberg will not be in action during the second Grand Prix at Silverstone. Chances are that Sergio Perez will return and so the question is whether we will see Hulkenberg back in Formula 1 at all?

Last weekend Hulkenberg made his comeback in Formula 1. The German had to leave Renault at the end of 2019 and found no other place in Formula 1. The chance came his way to replace Perez, but after a good qualifying session the German could not start the race due to problems with his car.

Hulkenberg back in Formula 1?

It would be a disappointment if he isn't allowed to race this weekend, but having smelled it Hulkenberg is now looking at options in F1 again. ''Formula 1 has always been my passion. It is the top of motorsport and you have the best teams, engineers and drivers here. It's great to be a part of it'', says Hulkenberg at the press conference, according to Speedweek.com.

''To be honest, I've already spoken to some people in Formula 1 and also team bosses. With one it's just nice chatting, but in some cases we also talked about the future. Those talks are definitely there, but there is nothing concrete yet and that will take a couple of weeks'', concludes the stand-in at Racing Point this weekend.
