Kvyat chooses the strongest driver on the grid: "Facts speak for themselves"

Daniil Kvyat has had many different teammates since his first season in Formula 1 in 2014. To name one name out of all those drivers that he thinks is his strongest team mate, is a bit tricky for the AlphaTauri driver.

When Kvyat is asked by Sky Sports who his ideal teammate is, he replies: "The ones I had were all quick and very competitive. In addition, one of the fastest is Ricciardo. When we were at Red Bull together it was a good season. But everyone is very fast", the Russian doesn't want to fail other drivers.

Still, the Italian medium wants to hear one name of who is the strongest driver in Formula 1 according to the AlphaTauri-driver. "The facts speak for themselves, Hamilton wins them all. He has inexhaustible confidence in his Mercedes", he says.

Kvyat also looks back briefly on his podium place during the Grand Prix of Germany. The 25-year old driver didn't expect that moment to come in a Toro Rosso car. "That was a very nice moment. Earlier I had thought that I wouldn't be able to compete in Formula 1 anymore. It really was a great prize for me."
