A very special day for Antonio Giovinazzi and Alfa Romeo Racing

Some drivers spend days of the winter break, skiing. Others spend a lot of time with their families as the amount of travelling is significantly reduced. But on this occasion, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alfa Romeo had a very special day.

Giovinazzi and a member of the Alfa Romeo team travelled to the Vatican to meet up with Pope Francis. In an Instagram post, Giovinazzi said it was a "privilege that I will be forever grateful for."

The Italian driver had his helmet signed by the Pope as the three members exchanged smiles and good wishes.

Giovinazzi will now get prepared for the new season as winter testing begins in just two weeks time.
