In recent days, there has been much talk about who is the better driver. Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen? Christian Horner sparked those talks off by saying Verstappen would beat Hamilton if they were in the same car.
To find out, Hamilton invited Verstappen to come to Mercedes and drive. Christian Horner had a bit of an answer to that during Friday's press conference at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
"Max's situation is clear. Do you think he can ride in one team with Hamilton? I don't know if Hamilton wants to come to us! There would be both positive and negative sides to that collaboration," Horner said.
“Max's speed has never been challenged. Although he is only 21, he is now also very experienced. He makes mistakes, but he has learned from them and has therefore developed as a driver. Moreover, he thinks it is great to work with Honda."
Verstappen has won two of the last three Formula 1 races igniting hope in the Red Bull garage of a fightback in the F1 world championship.
