Romain Grosjean says the media make a story out of nothing over Haas tension

Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen have had a few on-track incidents this season, leading to increased tension within the team. However, the Frenchman has said that the relationship between the two Haas drivers off the track is as strong as ever.

“In Formula 1, it’s great that everything is broadcast but you make a story out of nothing,” Grosjean said to the official F1 website when asked about the relationship between the two Haas drivers.

“Our relationship is good. When you’re driving at 300kph, obviously you’re not going to say ‘oh please, I think I was in [the] right and he was in the wrong and please, would you mind if I get my position back…?’ You’d say ‘f*** off, give me my position!’

“Unless you want us to be very, very boring or remove the microphone from the helmet then I think it’s always going to happen.”

Haas will hope that the Hungarian Grand Prix is a clean race and that their two drivers don't collide with each other again!
