Kimi Raikkonen has hinted that he may stay on for another season in F1 after his current two-year Alfa Romeo deal runs out at the end of next season.
Raikkonen will be 41 at the end of next season and revealed that the rule changes scheduled for 2021 will not decide whether he stays on for another year or not.
When asked whether the rules would decide his future, he replied: "No. You never know what happens after a big rule change, but usually the big teams stay ahead.
"Of course it would be nice if everything would close up a bit, not only for us drivers but also for the sport. But honestly, nobody knows.
"My contract expires next year, so we will see what happens after that.
