Valtteri Bottas and Tiffany Cromwell 'escape' during summer break

The summer break for the Formula 1 season is officially in full swing. Teams and drivers are enjoying three weeks off from Grand Prix weekend action, with many enjoying time away on holiday, or many taking the opportunity to go to many events away from F1. Sauber driver Valtteri Bottas is making the most of the break by heading back to Finland on holiday, accompanied by his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell.

Usually, during time away from the track, we see Bottas and Cromwell, a professional biker in both road racing and mountain biking, involved in many cycling events, including one of their own they came up with in Finlands a couple of months ago. However, both the Finn and the Australian have ditched their bikes and are relaxing during their time off.

It's been a tough season for the ten-time Grand Prix winner and the Stake F1 team, struggling to make any progress and finding themselves at the back of the grid. Sauber still sits on zero points in the constructors' championship, the only team to do so. However, Bottas' surroundings in the beautiful mountains as he 'escapes to the North' will mean he is rested and ready to earn points in the second half of the season.
