Max Verstappen looks forward to testing the RB15 on the simulator very soon. The Dutchman will be working with the Honda engine for the first time while Pierre Gasly will be slightly more used to it.

"For the first time, we will be testing with Honda's engine. Of course, I look forward to the collaboration, and you also feel much more motivated at the factory than ever before," Verstappen told Servus TV.

His interview took place at the Red Bull headquarters near to the simulation room. Verstappen wasn't there to test, but to enjoy the team's Christmas party.

"The annual Christmas party of Red Bull. Very nice with all people and also the last edition with Daniel. We had a lot of fun," Verstappen added.

During the event, Verstappen confirmed his early season form in 2018 continues to cause debate and nagging. Had he made a running start to the 2018 season, the 21-year-old would have cruised into third place in the World Championship.

"I am used to it because of my father. That can be pretty strict. But that's good because then you're used to it when you come in Formula 1. You always have to deal with criticism," Verstappen concluded.
