After a great weekend, with pole for the sprint race and second place during the race, Lando Norris is very pleased. The British driver says he did not expect such a result from himself. However, former World Champion Nico Rosberg has criticised the McLaren driver.

Rosberg thinks Norris could be more positive

Nico Rosberg, former Mercedes driver, has questioned Norris' attitude. "Lando is a little bit a glass half empty guy," the German told Sky Sports. "Pre-race betting that Ferrari are going to beat them? I don’t know, I don’t think that’s the best approach in general. I think more positivity would be helpful." Rosberg reveals that he had previously offered his help to Norris to help with his mindset. Thus, he says Norris needs more positivity and should not bet against himself.

Rosberg does, however, have high praise for the 24-year-old driver. "Nevertheless, he had a phenomenal drive, he drove so well. Certainly together with Max, the best driver of the day easily. The consistency, there was no degradation on his car which was amazing to see. The comparison to his team-mate Oscar Piastri who was really struggling with degradation. Big difference there, big delta. So a phenomenal drive."
