The Japanese Grand Prix 'just' went Max Verstappen's way again. The Red Bull driver finished ahead of teammate Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz. Charles Leclerc also had a good race in Suzuka. The choice is huge! Who will be the GPblog Driver of the Day? Vote in the poll below and discuss in the comments.

Two drivers who are unlikely to make it fell out early. Daniel Ricciardo, while Lance Stroll was driving on the inside and trying to pass Alexander Albon, hit the Williams car, resulting in both ending up in the tyre stacks at high speed. A red flag was waved almost immediately and the race was temporarily suspended. Fortunately, both drivers were able to leave the incident without injury.

Yuki Tsunoda is the first Japanese to score points in his home race since 2012. The VCARB driver drove a neat race and is therefore definitely a contender for the title. Max Verstappen was once again lord and master. If you don't see the driver during the race, you know he did well.

Last race weekend

Last time, Carlos Sainz ran away with the title. When Verstappen crashed out, the Spaniard managed to stay calm and secure victory in front of the tifosi. This weekend too, he drove a handsome race, will he get your vote?
