This now ensures that the drivers will be placed on the grid based on their time in the practice session. René Lammers, driver at MP Motorsport and son of Jan Lammers, will be quite upset as he managed to qualify his car in fourth place. As all drivers are now classified according to practice times, the Dutchman has to start from fifteenth place. Tim Gerhards, the other Dutchman on the grid will start from 29th place.
Disappointment for Lammers
On Monday, there was also a race in the Formula Winter Series. Then it was a disappointing result for René Lammers with a thirteenth and two sixteenth places. Fortunately, his father Jan Lammers also saw the positives. Speaking to motorsport.com , he said the following: ''We are obviously not satisfied with the final result, but it was his first race ever with a car.''
