Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur is giving an interview opposite Viaplay 's cameras when he is suddenly asked the question: ''If you had the chance today, would you sign Max Verstappen right now?'' Vasseur thinks for a moment and then gives a very politically correct answer...

''Right now i don't have a seat,'' the Frenchman says, laughing. ''Max is a reference, for sure. But we have to keep in mind the balance of the team is also important. But i'm sure that Max is not available,' ' says Vasseur.

Blank cheque to Verstappen

In the studio, Tom Coronel knows what Fred Vasseur should do: ''If I were him, you should go and bring in a star driver. Is that Hamilton? No. That's Verstappen at the moment, of course.'' Coronel gives the French team boss one more tip: ''If he really wants to do it he has to give a blank cheque to Verstappen's management. If you have Verstappen then everyone wants to come and work for Ferrari, because you want to work for winners.''
