Aston Martin's front wing has reportedly been too flexible this season. At least, so reports Autosport.com. A flexible front wing would offer teams significant advantages, as it would bend down on the straights to reduce drag.

Aston Martin is said to have had an overly flexible front wing a few Grands Prix ago. This rumour was said to come from Fernando Alonso 's onboard in which he drove with very high wing angles, and that they bent when he reached top speed on the straight.

Autosport says it has learned that the governing body has been paying extra close attention to the construction of front wings this year to prevent teams from using clever solutions to take advantage of flexible parts.
