Esteban Ocon says he has no regrets about his Formula One career despite his chances of a drive in F1 looking increasingly slim. The Frenchman looks set to be replaced at Racing Point Force India after Lawrence Stroll's investment linking son Lance with Ocon's seat for 2019.

The Mercedes junior driver will not get a seat at the Silver Arrows either with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas signed on until 2020 albeit the latter with a one-year deal with an option of an additional year.

Ocon's only realistic hope of an F1 drive for next season looks to be at Williams, however due to a lack of funds he would bring with him to the team, a seat there also appears to be out of reach.

Despite this, Ocon says that he would not change decisions he has made throughout his career, saying that although he is disappointed to not be signed on for 2019, he feels he has made the right decisions.

"I am disappointed that other factors are taking precedence over results," Ocon told France's Auto Hebdo. "I'm disappointed that two months ago we had two strong options and we have nothing today.

If I did it again, I wouldn't change any of the decisions made. I've gone through it 100 times in my head and I always come to the conclusion that based on the information we had, we made the right decision. It was impossible to see how things would turn against me as they did."
