Vasseur goes into new season with energy: 'Ferrari first'

Frederic Vasseur is looking forward to going into his first season with Ferrari, he said in a conversation with Auto, Motor und Sport. The French team boss intends to do everything in his power to go for the world title with the Italian formation.

The Frenchman notices that he has arrived at a bigger team, which means expectations are higher. However, he thinks he can deal with that. "This job is both an honour and a responsibility. The pressure at Ferrari is greater than elsewhere. But that can also inspire you."

Clear task for Vasseur

It will be up to Vasseur to get the noses in the same direction in the coming period. However, he expects he is already well on his way. "I already have a pretty good idea of what drives this team. The DNA is the same for everyone. It has nothing to do with the size of the team. What differs from Sauber is the expectations."
