Another such dominant Red Bull Racing season as this year is hardly imaginable. Helmut Marko does not think that is feasible either, especially as his formation will have considerably less wind tunnel time than the competition next season. Still, the impact should be able to be limited.

Because Red Bull finished first in the constructors' championship, the Austrians already have five and 10 per cent less time in the wind tunnel respectively compared to Ferrari and Mercedes anyway. On top of that, Red Bull will be cut ten per cent due to exceeding its budget ceiling in 2021.

Less wind tunnel time for Red Bull in 2023

"We have a handicap with the wind tunnel times," Marko agreed to television station ServusTV. "That means we have to maximise each of our wind tunnel tests. Luckily the rule changes are limited. We have a very good car [this year]. So we are relatively optimistic that at least we will be at the front again."

There are very few leavers within the Red Bull staff, which means there is no need to tinker with the formula for success. "This continuity throughout the company is incredibly important, [and that's why] I think we are in good shape."
