Sebastian Vettel is in Brazil racing his penultimate Grand Prix of his Formula One career. Speaking to Motorsport.com, the German tells Motorsport.com that he will miss the motorsport class, but that he certainly does not regret his decision to say goodbye.

Although Vettel is struggling to get into the points at Aston Martin, his position in the world championship proves how great his qualities still are. The driver has scored 36 points so far, while teammate Lance Stroll has 23 points less.

Critics, therefore, argue that Vettel will retire too soon and that he could easily compete at the highest level for several more seasons. Vettel argues that he wants to take everyone seriously, but that ultimately he himself is in charge of his career. "The only person that it really matters to is myself," he says.

Vettel dreams of win in Abu Dhabi

After the race weekend in Brazil, he will travel to Abu Dhabi next week for the final race of the season. "Of course it would be nice to win my last race, being realistic, I think it's going to be very difficult," finishes Vettel, who will start Saturday's sprint race from 13th place.
