Mateschitz left big bonus to Red Bull employees

The more than two thousand employees at the headquarters in Fuschl am See were all able to add a tax-free bonus of three thousand euros to their salary in October. So reports HLN.be. Red Bull itself reveals that it made use of the "legal possibilities" in this area.

By this, the brand refers to a regulation created in Austria to compensate for inflation. This allows employers to give their staff a tax-free bonus of up to three thousand euros. Mateschitz chose to give his staff the maximum amount, representing a cost of some six million euros for Red Bull.
