F1 sporting boss Ross Brawn insists that him and his team will work with the French GP team next season to avoid similar traffic chaos.

Brawn, talking to Autosport, promised that his company will work closely with the promoter in an attempt to fix Paul Ricard's traffic problems.

Christian Estrosi, the French GP organiser, has said he would look to book a meeting with F1 CEO Chase Carey in the near future to talk about potential changes.

"Now he know people should stop being falsely ashamed of motorsport in this country," Estrosi said.

"France loves motorsport. We won't let ourselves be bothered by some anti-automotive lobbies.

"Some Grand Prix are run before 10,000 spectators. Some Grand Prix - there are not so many - are run before (an officially declared 65,000) spectators, like us.

"They were told it was hell on Friday, they were told it was still a bit tricky on Saturday, but the spectators were here!

"We'll start working with Renault to convince the government and local authorities that we need to invest in the roads.

"We'll have a debrief in the next few days to tick all the boxes. We'll go further and offer something even better next year."

Estrosi said that he didn't want to be "cautious" when he was assessing the event.

"It's not arrogance, it's not being full of oneself, I say it as it is."
