It is race week again and Formula 1 is gearing up for the United States Grand Prix. This race weekend is a late affair for European fans due to the time difference. But if you're located in the US then you're in for an afternoon treat. Find out what time and where to turn on for this weekend's session here.

Also celebrating for Red Bull Racing?

The 2022 world champion has already been crowned after the Japanese Grand Prix. Max Verstappen was told after the Japanese GP that he had prolonged his title, sparking a big party at Red Bull Racing after some despair. After a fine celebration, the team is now also preparing to secure the constructors' title in America.

Red Bull has a 165-point lead over Ferrari and needs to leave a lead of 147 points after the race in Austin to clinch the title. So there are plenty of scenarios where this is possible. At the Circuit of the Americas, Red Bull is also considered the favourite, so ending with a 1-2 cannot be ruled out.

European fans should stay up late

The sessions in Texas will be run at 'normal' times. Thus, the first free practice starts at 14:00 local time and the third free practice and the race also start that late. Only qualifying is a bit later, at 17:00. However, the seven-hour time difference makes it a late affair for European fans. For qualifying, you have to wait until 23:00 before the lights go green and the race starts at 20:00 in the United Kingdom. So just scrap your morning plans this weekend.
