Charles Leclerc doesn't expect Sauber's surprisingly good form to continue and has dished out a reality check to the public.

Leclerc has attracted attention from the likes of Ferrari with his impressive driving this campaign.

He scored the first points of his career not so long ago in Azerbaijan, when he finished in sixth place.

Since then, he's managed two tenth placed positions, including one in Canada in the latest Grand Prix.

"I can not believe we have such positive races, in fact it's now four or five races that we have incredible results," Leclerc said.

"It is great, but we need to continue to work and improve as we already do, and I hope it will continue like this.

"We bring small things, but always things that are going in the right direction since the beginning of the season.

"So I think it is our strength, and every time we can feel a progression of the team.

"We have to be careful though, because I think the next four or five races will be more difficult for us, but we'll see.

"In any case, I am extremely happy with the races we have done so far.

"We took every opportunity to score points and we should be very proud."
