Mercedes and Alfa Romeo impressed at the Canadian Grand Prix. At Red Bull Racing, the race produced very mixed results, but Ferrari did not manage to beat the team in the end. What marks do the teams get on their reports?

Red Bull Racing | 7.5

Max Verstappen had an excellent weekend, but Sergio Perez again suffered reliability problems with his gearbox. The Red Bull team will miss out on important points in the championship, so it is hoped that this was a one-off problem.

Ferrari | 7

Ferrari did everything they could to maximise their results after Charles Leclerc's grid penalty, but in the end the Italians are not getting much closer to their rivals in the championship. The team's slow pit stop meant that the Monegasque found himself behind a train of drivers, and Carlos Sainz also didn't have what it takes to beat the RB18 of Verstappen.

Alfa Romeo | 9

Alfa Romeo impressed in Canada. After many reliability problems and multiple dropouts, the team takes home double points. Especially Guanyu Zhou showed what he has to offer with a strong qualifying and multiple overtakes during the race.

Mercedes | 8.5

The team may have benefited from Perez's retirement and Leclerc's grid penalty, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Mercedes put in an excellent performance in Canada. Both drivers were fast on the road and were therefore rewarded with a P3 and P4.

McLaren | 5

McLaren will want to quickly look ahead to the next race at Silverstone, as the British team takes home zero points. The car was simply not fast enough to keep up with the pace of the rest of the field. A dramatic pit stop by Lando Norris also caused the Brit to lose a lot of time.

Haas | 5.5

Haas had a good chance to bring home double points in Canada, but in the end the team leaves for Silverstone empty-handed. A mistake by Kevin Magnussen and problems by Mick Schumacher continued Haas' string of bad luck.

Aston Martin | 6.5

After a disappointing qualifying session, it was up to the drivers to make up many places. Lance Stroll managed to get a point on his home track after a clever strategy, but the team also made the strange choice of not letting Sebastian Vettel come in for a free pit stop during the safety car. As a result, the German fell back to P12 on his old hard tires.

AlphaTauri | 5

The AlphaTauri team opted for different strategies, but in the end they worked out badly for both drivers. Pierre Gasly got stuck in traffic, while Yuki Tsunoda himself ended his race.

Williams | 4

Williams was once again far from the points. Nicholas Latifi finished only ahead of Kevin Magnussen and Alexander Albon also failed to secure points. Another weekend to forget for the team.

Alpine | 7.5

After a great qualifying for Fernando Alonso, the team had hoped for a better result. For Esteban Ocon, the strategy worked in his favour, but Alpine did not help Alonso. The Spaniard ended up finishing ninth after a penalty. A podium finish is thus still awaited.
