Michael Fassbender went a long way from Hollywood to Le Mans

Hollywood actor Michael Fassbender will make his debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans this coming weekend. There he will get behind the wheel of the Porsche 911 RSR with number 93 of Proton Competition.

Porsche's customer team competes in the GTE-Am category. Fassbender, who is seeing a long-held dream come true, shares the cockpit with Matt Campbell and Zacharie Robichon. "The thing with dreams is you don’t think about how much work you’ve invested or how many setbacks you’ve had to face," explains the actor on the official website of Porsche.

Fassbender's journey from Hollywood to Le Mans can be followed in the series Michael Fassbender: Road to Le Mans, which can be seen in full on Porsche's YouTube-Porsche channel and has already had three seasons.
