Red Bull once again scored the highest grade in the class after achieving their goals in the Monaco Grand Prix. Sergio Perez won the race and Max Verstappen beat Charles Leclerc. Ferrari threw it away and therefore score low again.

Red Bull Racing | 9

Red Bull scored a double podium having started third and fourth. The team gets a half point deduction for not beating Ferrari on Saturday and another half point for Verstappen 'only' finishing third instead of second. The team was very strong over the weekend and reacted quickly to the blunders at Ferrari.

Ferrari | 7

The only reason that Ferrari doesn't score a deep failing is the reason that Carlos Sainz still finished in second place after also qualifying P2. The team lost crucial points due to a chaotic moment over the radio with Leclerc. The team brought the Monegasque in too early, causing the team to lose its dictating role in the race to Red Bull. Perez is breathing down Leclerc's neck as a result in the championship standings.

Mercedes AMG F1 | 6.5

Mercedes seemed to have made a move forward in Barcelona. The team had clearly become a lot faster there, but in Monaco that step forward had disappeared again. George Russell did make up a spot on Lando Norris for P5. The team just didn't have a strategic solution to get Lewis Hamilton away behind the slow Fernando Alonso. A colourless weekend for the silver arrows.

McLaren | 6

McLaren remain difficult to rate because Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo are so far apart each weekend. Norris handles the MCL34 well; the Brit finished in sixth place. Ricciardo again failed to pick up any points and finished thirteenth.

Alfa Romeo F1 | 5

Alfa Romeo also seems to have slumped a bit in Monaco. Points were scored, which is obviously a good thing for the team. It just didn't make much difference for Bottas who crossed the finish line ninth in the train behind Alonso. Zhou finished sixteenth. The team's two points puts them in danger of losing the fifth spot in the championship.

Alpine F1 | 6.5

Although Alpine has yet to make great strides, they have been in good shape the past two races by racking up some points each time. The team is only two points away from fifth place in the championship. Alpine was constantly working in Monaco to make the most of the characteristics of the circuit where overtaking is so difficult. Alonso's P7 and Ocon's P12 (with time penalty) gives them a fine score.

Scuderia AlphaTauri | 6

AlphaTauri may be rewarded on the report with a good enough score because of the risk they took with Pierre Gasly to go to the 'intermediates' very early in the race. The Frenchman unfortunately just failed to score any points with P11, but had fought his way back from P17; and that is a fine achievement at Monaco with some overtaking maneuvers on the track.

Haas F1 | 2.5

Haas did not finish with either car at Monaco. Kevin Magnussen's car stopped suddenly. However, the Dane said the car was good enough to take points this weekend. If we are to take him at his word, the team can still make up some points for that. The fact is that Mick Schumacher also did not finish because of a hard crash with probably extremely high costs.

Aston Martin F1 | 5

One point for Vettel in Monaco probably shows more about Vettel than it does about his team, yet the Aston Martin came out on top of the timesheet on Saturday with the ninth fastest lap. Vettel did lose a place in the race, but did pick up a point. Lance Stroll did not grab any points, but did climb four places; from P18 to P14. The team's scores were mediocre, as usual.

Williams | 4

Williams drivers Nicholas Latifi and Alexander Albon often passed by on screen during the Monaco race, mainly because they were struggling with their cars. The Williams drivers did not seem to have a particularly strong car. Both drivers were eliminated in Q1 and in the race they showed no speed, just a fight with their own car. Albon could not finish the race and Latifi again did not score any points.
