Valtteri Bottas has raised a considerable amount of money for charity. The Finn went naked for a photo in a river in the week after the Miami Grand Prix. Because of all the reactions, he decided to sell the photo as a poster.

After the race in Miami, Bottas decided to stay in America for a while longer. His partner, Tiffany Cromwell, took a very striking photo of the Finn. Bottas posted the image on Instagram showing how he took a dip in a stream in Aspen, America, in his bare bottom.

The photo caused a lot of reactions. A professional photographer edited the photo, after which Bottas decided to have the artwork printed and sold for charity. The Alfa Romeo driver himself was surprised by the proceeds of the nude photo. In fact, the Finn raised 50.000 euros, reports the AD. This is not the first time that Bottas has stripped naked, as we also saw this happen in the series Drive To Survive.

Hamilton reacts to the photo

During the weekend in Spain, former teammate Lewis Hamilton let it be known that he would like to buy one for charity. "I would, yeah, for charity, for sure. I didn’t even know it was up for sale but I think it’s a great photo. It’s one of the best photos I’ve seen, actually”, the seven-time world champion told Sky Sports.
