Mick Schumacher is also struggling in his second season in Formula 1. Where his teammate Kevin Magnussen seems to guarantee points for the time being, the Swiss born still does not manage to do the same. Guenther Steiner, however, has full confidence in his talent.

The Haas team boss brought Schumacher to the racing stable last season. However, along with Nikita Mazepin, he was faced with a car that did not allow him to compete with the other teams. It caused Haas to end the year with zero points.

Steiner remains behind Schumacher

In the new season, Magnussen, who is the replacement for Mazepin, has immediately picked up his form. With fifteen points, he is tenth in the world championship for now, proving that the American racing stable has made progress. Meanwhile, Schumacher is still struggling.

"I told him that the higher you go in Formula 1, the thinner the air becomes, and he's not used to that yet," Steiner told Die Welt. "Overtaking in a Formula One car is something new for him, because last year we were behind everyone and he could rarely do an overtaking maneuver. But he wants to improve and is investing a lot of time in that."
