At the end of qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, the duels between them provided few surprises. Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were all faster than their teammate. Some drivers, for the time being, hold a zero score against their teammate.

Carlos Sainz was well underway in Melbourne, but could not continue that line into the final part of qualifying. As a result, the Spaniard once again had to lose out to teammate Leclerc, who has been faster in all qualifications so far.

The same goes for Lando Norris, who has outpaced Daniel Ricciardo three times already. Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas and Alexander Albon have also qualified ahead of their teammate every weekend so far. Albon will have to leave Nicholas Latifi ahead at the start, however, as he was dropped from the results for failing to provide a fuel sample.
