Haas has been very positive this season. Where the American racing stable remained pointless last year, they are now on twelve points after two races thanks to strong performances by Kevin Magnussen. Yet Guenther Steiner still sees plenty of room for improvement.

Because of the new regulations in 2022, Haas decided just last season to put its complete focus on the new season. It gave Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin a car last calendar year with which they could hardly compete with the other teams.

Steiner has full confidence in team

The current season started messy for Haas. The team wanted to continue with Mazepin and Schumacher, but due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the stable decided to part with the first driver. With Magnussen, Steiner found a driver who could be there right away, as it turned out in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

"I think it’s realistic that we can aim for points in every race," the team boss states on the team's website. "At least for the first half of the season and then we will see if teams make big upgrades or if they gain a lot of pace. I’m optimistic that we can keep this form, we just have to try to score points with both cars."
