Bottas on overtaking just before the finish: 'Overtaking was not easy'.

Valtteri Bottas overtook Esteban Ocon for third place on the final lap of the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. The Finn is satisfied with the result and looks forward to returning to this circuit next year.

"It was not an easy day. There were many obstacles with the red flags and everything. It made it a bit tricky. I think with the first red flag, being on the hard tyre was a mistake. Some of the guys put medium tyres on," Bottas began in the post-race interview.

"We went for the medium after, and it was okay. We just kept pushing. It wasn’t easy to overtake today, but finally, on the last straight I got it done," the Finn continues.

Bottas is already looking forward to returning to the Jeddah circuit next year. "It’s a nice track. It’s a big challenge physically and mentally. Good Grand Prix and I look forward to going here next year."
