While hosting a Red Bull event at Circuit Park Zandvoort with the likes of Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo and David Coulthard, Dutch prince Bernhard of Orange has revealed that the people will know whether there'll be a Dutch Grand Prix by the end of the year.
Bernhard knows that there are a lot of tracks in contention for being added to the calendar, but he remains hopeful.
"There's a lot of international competition," he told local broadcaster NH Nieuws.
"Maybe a bit of national competition too [The TT-Circuit in Assen], but I think that it's most important to look whether you can get a spot on the calendar while there's international competition.
"Besides, you need to look whether it's financially obtainable.

Zandvoort will not get any financial backing by the local county, but neither will the TT-Circuit in Assen, yearly host of the MotoGP among other things. They will both have to find cash elsewhere.
